Music Marketing Project Process
The process of brainstorming for this project doesn't have too much involved. The first step was meeting the people in my group and creating an atmosphere that doesn't make it a horror to work with me. We all get along fine and quickly moved to the second phase, coming up with an idea.
After getting the genre of music, pop, we were given 4 songs to choose from. My group and I settled on the song "She Will Be Loved" by Maroon 5 to be the basis for our project. Many ideas were proposed, requiring a deep dive into the lyrics of the song and deeper meaning. After much debate, we settled on the idea that the video would be about a stalker and the declining state of her life.
Originally we were going to have the singer be the stalker in the video, but after a suggestion from our teacher, we realized that that would be a horrible idea, making the singer look bad in this supposedly first song and video by the artist.
